Meet the Board & Committee Reps

President: Connie Robinson

I am a FACP homeowner, a mother, grandmother, neighbor, friend and community advocate. I am retired after 37 years with the federal government; and have the skills, time, tenacity and heart to serve. My family and I have resided in this community for more than 5 years. I started on the Architectural Committee in 2018; as Treasurer in 2019; and President from 2020 to present.

I have served in leadership throughout my career, and on various governance boards for many years. My background includes business administration, real estate, project management and coaching/mentoring. I worked with our board to start a Collaboration Group with other HOAs across the city. We discuss and share best practices as well as work with appointed and elected officials to address community concerns. As your President, I will continue working with others to bring fresh ideas that help foster neighborly bonds, expand opportunities, and enhance our community.

Vice-President/Secretary: Lynne M. Reid

I have been a resident in FACP since December 2014. I previously served two terms (2017-2019) as Board Treasurer, as Board Secretary (2020-2022), and added the role of Vice President in 2023.

I work in various capacities to serve the community. I work with the technology components and support FACP in fostering community relations with public officials. Outside of the community, I work with Habitat for Humanity in assisting with the selection of individuals seeking to purchase a home thru this program. I also volunteer as a financial coach and assist with other trainings Habitat is sponsoring.

I enjoy living in FACP and want to ensure it stays a beautiful, safe and thriving community.

Treasurer/Parliamentarian: Artelia (Telia) Knight

Greetings. I am a proud mother of 4 and a boastful grandmother of 3. I retired from the Army in 2018. I spent 25 years as a Finance and Accounting Non-commissioned Officer. I served various tours taking care of Soldiers, their families, and serving my country honorably.

Although relatively new to Georgia and the community, I enjoy getting to know the area. I plan to work hard on getting the community involved in the great things FACP provides. There are over 200 families in the community, and I look forward to seeing everyone participate in some way to help the Board make it even better.

I'm a proud member of this family and I firmly believe we should all love the community we work so hard to manage and maintain. The Board needs the support of the community, and the community needs a Board that cares. I want to be a part of both.

COMMITTEE REPRESENTATIVES

Social Committee: Donald Bolton (and Ceci Gales)

We love living here at FACP and are always joining in to see what needs to be done or how we can assist. As leaders of the Social Committee, we work together with the Board to help plan engagement activities for our community; as well as help to coordinate volunteers, food, games and decor.

Neighborhood Watch: Dereck Bradley

Me and my wife Tomecia have resided at FACP for 5 years (and have 7 daughters). I'm a Combat Veteran of the U.S. Army and Tactical Security Consultant with over 21 years in the Protective Services Industry. I also am the CEO of Gideon Protective Services. As Director of the Neighborhood Watch Program, I secure pool coverage and enforce COVID-19 guidelines throughout the pool season.

I also procure Crime Statistics from South Fulton Police Department and will conduct a Risk Assessment toward developing a Security Plan for FACP. I look forward to helping to identifying ways that increase safety awareness for all residents.

Community Relations: Phyllis Reed

I've been a resident of FACP since March 2019 and began actively serving in this role in August 2020. I represent the community fostering relations with builders/developers, elected officials, and various other governing agencies covering concerns, safety, damages and any other matters impacting the FACP Community.

I hold a BS degree in Chemistry and an MBA in Business. In my capacity as a Chemist, I was an Environmental specialist/investigator. I also enjoyed partnering in public relations and business development companies that worked with elected officials, governmental entities (state and local), educational institutions, and start-up companies. Currently, I'm a partner in a certified home inspection company.

Digital Signboard Administrator: Dana Barrett

I enjoy residing here at FACP and often find ways to serve. I currently maintain the signboard messaging. Although the board is limited in its functionality, I do what I can to ensure the messaging is updated timely so the community can stay informed of current happenings.

Beautification: Patricia Kentish Smikle

I have resided here at FACP for many years. My husband and I volunteer to serve by helping to plan, create and administer beautification projects (i.e., trees, plants, flowers, lighting, etc.) in greenspace areas throughout the community.

Community Photographer: June Peterkin

I enjoy living in my community and have served in various roles over the years. Since residing here, I have served as a former Treasurer, the Social Committee Chair, on the Media Team, and as the Photographer. I don't have as much time to serve as often as I used to, but I still enjoy taking pictures and sharing them when I can.
